St. Andrew the Apostle Parish is one of the most famous Catholic churches in Makati City and serves as a patron saint to Metro Manila and even to fishermen. It lies inside the posh community of Bel-Air Village and is truly well-remembered for its modern architecture by one of the renowned Filipino architects, Leandro Locsin. The unique, round design of the church takes a swooping, curvaceous roof to become symbolic of a giant sail and gives reflection to St. Andrew's life as a fisherman. Inside, there is spaciousness and serenity, with natural light filtering in from the stained glass windows to create such a pacific atmosphere for worship and reflection. March 2021
